lift the rain from the ground.
we will depart, heaven-bound, and i will go without a sound for something's lost and must be found.
sadness, it is not a sin.
but you won't let me in.
and i will go without a sound for something's lost and must be found.

wild windy winter blow through me, my soul will thaw and melt into the sea. life and death on this wide plane of green and the howling of the ghosts we cannot see. tell me, has the world been kind to you? or has it turned a blind, black eye from you? yes tell me something true, because truth, i'm sure, adores you more than i do. and there you are so blue, just like i wanted you. this horizon is much too wide to swallow and so it is my shadow you must follow. twist its wrist to see the lines in my face. listen closely: you are lovely, but can you brave the storm? because you are the wind and you cannot come in. us and them, me and you, we are doomed.

within these woods are breathing trees who send their leaves to bend our knees while the ghost face follows through thickets and hollows through old, deep blackness in a bleak, swift madness. the monster follows close behind but we are unafraid to take our time though hands of grass grope at our tracks and the path keeps closing at our backs. close your eyes! walk boldly into darkened spaces, scary places where hollow bones and ghostly tones search round and round to find us. and though they follow close behind don't worry we'll take our time.
